Curb Appeal
When the homeowners and their builder reached out to me, their newly renovated home was ready for its finishing touch—a landscape design that would elevate its curb appeal and make the front yard feel as welcoming as the home itself. They wanted something timeless, natural, and thoughtfully designed to complement the architecture while feeling effortlessly inviting. I couldn’t wait to bring their vision to life.
It all started with a proper entry—an elegant Bluestone walkway that naturally guides visitors to the front door, including Eden stone steps that add both function and charm. I layered in structured Boxwoods for crisp definition, lush Hydrangeas for softness, and bloom-filled Roses for that classic, welcoming feel. A stately Juniper now stands as an anchor in the landscape, while Ornamental Grasses bring in movement and texture, making the whole space feel alive. And because I love working with natural stone, I incorporated retaining walls that level the front yard and seamlessly blend into the planting design, giving the front yard just the right amount of structure and timeless appeal.
Of course, curb appeal isn’t just about looks—it has to be low-maintenance, practical, and built to thrive year-round. That’s why I chose a mix of hardy evergreens, seasonal blooms, and durable materials like Bluestone and Eden stone—a combination that will look just as stunning in winter as it does in peak bloom.
Now, this front yard tells a story. It’s a space that welcomes guests with effortless charm, a place where the homeowners can enjoy a quiet morning surrounded by nature, and a landscape that will only get better with time. Seeing everything come together—watching a house transform into a home through thoughtful design—is exactly why I love what I do.
