new years is for renewal

as a female landscape design/build owner, the new year feels like more than just turning the page on a calendar, it’s a chance to embrace renewal in all its forms. nature shows us that every season has a purpose, and the start of a new year is a time to refresh, reimagine, and grow. it’s an opportunity to take a step back, reassess personal and professional goals, clear out mental clutter, and rediscover the creative spark that drives meaningful work. just as we breathe new life into outdoor spaces, the new year invites us to bring that same sense of energy and possibility to ourselves and our surroundings.

for me, it’s a moment to reflect and ask important questions: how can i create spaces that inspire not only others but also myself? what ideas have been lying dormant, waiting for the right conditions to blossom? this time of renewal is also a chance to revisit what makes me passionate about my work and to strengthen my connection to the natural world. it’s a reminder that the cycles of growth and transformation are constant, both in the landscapes i design and in life itself.

renewal fuels growth, whether through exploring fresh design concepts, building stronger collaborations, or carving out space for personal well-being. the new year symbolizes endless opportunities to cultivate change and creativity, ensuring that both life and work flourish in harmony.
