Planting Installations

I’ll admit it—I’m a huge plant nerd. I could talk endlessly about textures, colors, scents, and the magic of watching a garden evolve through the seasons. For me, planting design isn’t just about filling a space with greenery; it’s about crafting an experience—one that invites you in, awakens your senses, and connects you more deeply to nature. I believe every plant should serve a purpose, whether it’s providing year-round structure, bursting into seasonal blooms, attracting pollinators, or simply offering that intoxicating fragrance that makes you pause and take a deep breath.

When designing a planting plan, I consider everything—sunlight, soil type, climate, and how the space will be used—to create a landscape that feels effortless, thriving naturally without excessive upkeep. I lean into locally grown, drought-tolerant, and well-adapted plants that support local biodiversity, ensuring that the landscape is not just beautiful but also ecologically beneficial. And yes, I always make room for flowers that double as cut blooms—because what’s better than bringing a bit of your garden inside to blur the line between outdoor and indoor living?

I love layering textured grasses that dance in the breeze, vibrant perennials that put on a show, and stately evergreens that keep things grounded year-round. I balance structure and flow, color and contrast, softness and strength—because the best landscapes feel alive, evolving gracefully through the seasons. Whether it’s the dappled shade from a well-placed tree, the scent of roses on a summer evening, or the rustling of leaves in the wind, my goal is to create outdoor spaces that don’t just look good but feel good—places that draw you in, make you linger, and deepen your love for the natural world.
